With this issue, #18, Death Rattle went out of business (turns out temporarily). The various gluts in the comic book market and the title’s sometimes eccentric content worked against it. However, this volume went out with a bang.
Death Rattle #18 is a whambang 40-page giant special with a Frank Miller (Daredevil, Dark Knight) cover. The exciting conclusion of the Bulbo Cosmic Slug saga and Steve Rasnic Tem and Ron Wilber’s “Small Acts of Revenge” an 8 page thriller in the EC manner.
