Omaha and CHuck flee from the riot at the secret nightclub, the Underground to San Francisco. There they hope to make a new start free of Chuck’s father, the power-mad tycoon Charles (Charlie) Tabey and his former associate Andre DeRoc who was responsible for the shooting of Omaha’s friend, Shelley. But their car breaks down just short of the destination.
