arc 06 Bearzy Wearzies
Summer 1976
Arcade #6 is perhaps the most enjoyable issues of the series. Robert Crumb returns to his wicked satire after a couple of maudlin and historic excursions in the past two issues with “Those Cute Little Bearzy Wearzies.” Justin Green is also in good form with “Dad for a Day.”
S. Clay Wilson, Aline Kominsky and Spain Rodriguez all provide solid contributions to this issue, which also memorializes the unfortunate and tragically youthful passing of Willy Murphy with a portfolio of some of his fine comedic stylings.
