Leave it to the folks at Slave Labor to come up with a series like these 11 issues (1991-93) of One-Fisted Tales. (The title itself is a very droll takeoff on the EC adventure title Two-Fisted Tales.) Although it’s partly an anthology of sex cartoons, its also an oddball (and strangely funny) collection of observations about sex, pop culture, and human nature.
Typical of its sense of humor is a “So a guy went into a doctor…” story where various characters complain about “this thing” that appeared over their unmentionable body parts. “This thing” turns out to be the ubiquitous black editor’s mark that is often used to blot out the breast, genitals, and other “naughty bits” in X-rated photographs.
Some issues came with a secondary cover which was tan that only stated “#1 ONE-FISTED TALES” With 1 Slave Labor Seal the the left and right of the word “TALES” and the $2.50 price tag with USA beneath the right side seal. The only other Writings on the secondary cover are that of a boldly printed ” FOR ADULTS ONLY”
