Although the 2nd through 6th issues reverted to Last Gasp, for organizational purposes on docweaselcomix.com we group them with the first publisher, Kitchen Sink, even though many of these series moved around alot. THis is our policy for all titles so that they can be grouped together and more easily read.
Six years after Kitchen Sink published the first issue, Last Gasp revives Commies from Mars with issue #2, featuring Rich Larson, Doug Hansen, Hunt Emerson (“The Adventures of Alan Rabbit”), J. Michael Leonard (“12,001: A Spaced Outessy”) and Greg Irons (“Gregor’s 115th Wet Dream”), plus the comic contributions from editor Tim Boxell (“Commies From Mars Cafe”). The front cover art from John Pounds is simply epic, earning one of his multiple Top Twenty Underground Covers awards.
