In Slow Death #6, Charles Dallas contributes a story demonizing zoos, of all things (he hates that urban kids get to see wildlife up close?), before George Metzger weaves a nightmarish future where hope manages to survive for 245 years (in one of the most amusing misspellings found in the undergrounds, Metzger misspells “analyst” as “analist”). Rand Holmes provides the excellent “Raw Meat” (reminds me of the movie, Little Shop of Horrors). The comic closes with Jack Jackson giving us a killer tale indicting all manners of prejudice except of course leftist prejudice against the religious, poor whites or conservatives, the only kind of hate that is acceptable, especially these days.
