The 5th issue of Death Rattle Vol. 2 is the last color issue in the series. Once again Rand Holmes and Mike Baron team on a story, the 14 page spectabular Junkyard Dog. Basil Wolverton contributes his classic Robot Woman from the early ’50s. Jaxon returns with the 3rd installment of Bulto Cosmic Slug. Mike Newhall colored all these stories in a marathon session, maintaining his usual high professional standards under the ominous weight of a brutal deadline. After he completed the last story he came in with a strange look in his eye mumbling something about meditating in the swamp as he shambled out the door.
